As a matter of fact, I think it could be, Xu Xu. Good work!
For anyone who doesn't know it, Boskovice is a town of about 8,000 inhabitants and is about 40km north of Brno and 60km west of Olomouc.
It has a well-preserved Jewish quarter, one of the largest Jewish cemeteries in the country, a ruined hilltop castle and, in Kafirna Dogvill, possibly the best little coffee shop that I know of.
Is the castle on top of the hill near the chateau? I was only able to spend 2-hours in Boskovice last year, because I didn't want to miss my last bus back home. I'll certainly have to make a return trip later this month to see the town properly.
Yes, that road that goes past the front of the chateau leads up to the castle. There are also hiking trails that shorten the walk a little. I think the castle is still open on weekends in October, but if you get there and find it closed, Kafirna Dogvill is just off the square on Zborovska...;-)

I know you've been traveling around Bohemia recently, but could this be Boskovice in Moravia?

Well worth a visit if you're in the region...
