Where the Czech...? #16

Christmas Markets take over the main squares of most Czech cities and towns at this time of year. The ones I've seen get better and better every year, with more traditional craft and home made produce, and less cheap imported rubbish. And let's not forget the punch. The market in Olomouc has 120 stalls and I'd estimate about 60 of them are selling Mulled wine or Punch of one kind or another, and it was the same at the place in the photo. Does anybody recognise where it is?

It is Jihlava.

Well done, Ester. You're good at the Moravian ones!

Enjoy the markets but go easy on the grog, mate. It's a killer. Anyhow, season's greetings to you and all at the Poet's.
And next week, how about one from Northern Bohemia ;)

Afraid the Northern Bohemia file is looking a bit thin at the moment mate, but I'll see what I can come up with...

All the best for Christmas and the New Year to you too...

I'm glad you enjoy it Ester, and thanks for reading.

Ol' Michael is pretty hard to beat with the Bohemian ones isn't he? Sometimes I hit the publish button and there he is right away with the answer.

Perhaps another one from Moravia next week...;-)
