Does anybody recognise this town square?

It's in Bohemia and it's kind of near a National Park...

No clue, but it is a nice picture. The color (at least on my computer) almost looks like those old postcards that were black and white photographs and then water colored.

I must admit i did alter the colour of the sky because the original photo was a bit dreary. Nice little town though. 'Beautiful' is probably a stretch but certainly it's very nice.

Could it be Krásná Lípa?

Hi there,

I've just stumbled on your blog via Empty Nest Expat's blogroll and am looking forward to having a read through.

I've linked to you from my new Prague food and drink blog :

Would you mind linking to me in return?

Thanks,

It is Krásná Lípa. Well done Circuit Rider; did you pick up the 'beautiful' hint or just recognize the square?

Krásná Lípa could translate as 'Beautiful Linden' and is just outside the Eastern end of the Czech Switzerland National Park.

At last I've got one right! Yes, the hints gave it away; I wouldn't have got it otherwise. I passed within a couple of miles of Krásná Lípa when cycling to Berlin with a couple of friends last year, but we didn't visit it. Instead we turned left (i.e. in the opposite direction) at Kyjov into the national park. It's a beautiful area.
