Good old Jan Zizka. My first thought was Tabor, but from what I remember that statue had a different weapon in his right hand. Not sure where this one is located but I am sure there are numerous Zizka statues. I guess it could be worse, it be a statue of Jan Nepomuck.
You're right Mike; It is Žižka and it's not Tábor.
It's a little out of the way, this place. I went there for the first time this year.
Borovany/Trocnov...?
Took some research, but I'll guess that the statue is located in the area where Žižka was born.
