Anybody recognise this old Czech town?

The town hall looks like that of Ceske Budejovice but I dont want to make the same mistake as Ian last week! I recognise the angel as well but my first thought was Litomysl which it certainly isnt. I am stuck.
By the way, well done on introducing the world to Burcak this week, and fittingly you posted about it on my 30th birthday!
Cheers

Happy Birthday for last week Alsch!

It's not Ceske Budejovice, but there's certainly a resemblance in that middle frame.

Lets say it's about half way in between...;-)

This was Kolín, about an hour east of Prague.

That's 1 to me, 110 to you guys...;-)

Pass by Kolin on the train many times and never got off the train. Explains why the tower looked vaguely familiar. Congrats on your first score!

Damn it!!! Iknew I knew it. Kolin is only 40 mins or so by train from us (Uvaly). If anyone is passing through i can recommend the hospoda in the nadrazi, probably THE dodgiest pub in all of CR!!! A very weird place, maybe Hrabals 'Little town where time stood still', it certainly seems so from the cobwebs hanging off the people in the pub! By the way, are you aware of the reputation of Kolin - the phrase 'Kolinska Moda' refers to the bad fashion statements you will see as you pass through the town.

'Kolinska Moda' Heh heh! The Moravian equivalent is Zlín.
