Is this the city hall in Liberec? There is a memorial to the 8 or 9 citizens that were killed here during the 1968 Soviet invasion. There names were listed on tank treads.
I think I can safely say it is Liberec Town Hall. I've only walked past it a few thousand times ;) After the Soviet invasion, one side of the square in front was left in ruins. The locals nicknamed it Beirut. And a certain German politician once stood on that balcony in the bottom right of the photo...
