Anybody know which Czech town this is the main square of?

Hmm... is it in Moravia?

I'm a bit surprised no-one has guessed this one yet.

I guess it's tougher than I thought and deserves a hint...

Nope, it's not in Moravia.

Have I been there?

Is it the main square in Pilsen? The plague column does not look right though. The tower looks Bohemian but I am not sure if I recognize this scene. You are getting tough which makes for god Sunday morning entertainment. Thanks.

As far as I know, Sans Icarus, you didn't go up there, and sorry, Michael, it's not Pilsen.

Going to have to turn it over to the characters on the Lonely Planet message boards if we don't get an answer here soon...;-)

I've posted a link to this week's Where the Czech on the Lonely Planet Thorn Tree and the guesses over there include České Budějovice, Český Krumlov and Třeboň; none of which are correct...

Perhaps I really have you stumped this time? :-D

Trutnov

Very well done Jay! It is Trutnov, in the foothills of the Krkonose in North-east Bohemia.

Another '...ov' town to add to your growing list! :-)
