Where the Czech...? #44

Does anybody know where in the Czech Republic this statue stands? If not, I'll settle for who it represents...

I am not sure where it is from, but it does look like the grandmother from Bozena Nemcova's book Babicka. I don't remember the name of the children since it has been a while since I read the book. I do remember the dog was in the story. The story takes place in a small village in northeast Bohemia so perhaps that is the location of the statue. Good enough for partial credit (I sound like my students)?

With the help from Michael, I'll guess Ratibořice...?

Very well done Michael and Jay. It is a statue of characters from Božena Němcova's Babička, and it stands not far from the mansion in Ratibořice.

For anyone hearing the name for the first time, Božena Němcova was an important author during the Czech national revival (in the second half of the 19th Century) and her image graces the 500Kč banknote.
