i kinda got reminded of Tecin (? - i think that was the name - between telc and brno) and the medieval cathedral there... am i on the right track?

Sorry Michael, it's not Jindrichuv Hradec. Geographically speaking, Mark was a little closer with Trebic.
I really like the town in the picture. If I couldn't live in Olomouc, this place would be one of my first choices to move to.
I'm sticking with the J - Jihlava?
Jihlava wouldn't be a bad place to live either, but the place in the photo doesn't start with J. Or T.
